Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the MindRenew platform or website. These terms govern your access to and use of MindRenew and describe the responsibilities of all users, including individuals, ministry leaders, and partner organizations.
MindRenew is a faith-informed, CBT-informed mental wellness and pastoral care support platform. It is not therapy, clinical counseling, psychiatric care, medical treatment, or crisis intervention. By using MindRenew, you acknowledge and agree that it is a reflection, education, and pastoral care support tool — not a clinical service.
By accessing or using the MindRenew platform or website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users, including individuals, ministry leaders, and partner organizations.
MindRenew is intended for personal reflection, emotional wellness support, and pastoral care within a faith context. You agree to use the platform in a manner consistent with its purpose — with honesty, respect, and care. You agree not to misuse the platform, share access credentials, or use it in ways that could harm yourself or others.
MindRenew is not a crisis service. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, experiencing a mental health crisis, or having thoughts of self-harm or harm to others, please contact emergency services (such as 911 in the US) or a crisis line immediately. Do not rely on MindRenew for crisis support.
Ministry leaders using MindRenew are providing pastoral care — not acting as licensed therapists or clinical counselors, unless they hold those qualifications separately. Leaders agree to use MindRenew within appropriate pastoral boundaries, to refer individuals to professional mental health services when needed, and to maintain the confidentiality and dignity of those they support.
All content, tools, frameworks, and materials on the MindRenew platform and website are the intellectual property of MindRenew and its creators. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use MindRenew content for commercial purposes without written permission.
Your use of MindRenew is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Use by reference. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
MindRenew is provided as a support and reflection tool. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MindRenew and its creators are not liable for any harm, loss, or damage arising from your use of the platform — including decisions made based on reflections, exercises, or pastoral care interactions within the platform.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the platform or by email. Continued use of MindRenew after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
